The most original Australia is most likely found in western Australia (Western Australia). Only a few first-time visitors find this worth a trip. It doesn’t have to be. Western Australia is definitely worth a trip for anyone who feels like going to Australia. The emerging tourist region of Western Australia spans a third of Australia’s total land area with a population of approximately 2.8 million people, of which more than 2 million live in Perth, the only coast followed by an extensive hinterland that is also worth exploring. They are accompanied by a metropolis in the west of the continent, beautifully situated in the southwest of the Indian Ocean. Most places worth seeing are in a wonderful color spectrum, and you can experience an obvious starry sky at night.
A trip through Western Australia is an extraordinary experience and should be experienced in stages. Therefore, this tour is a continuous overland trip between Perth and Melbourne. Their length is about 4000 km, including the side roads and the tour through the southwest. With a minibus with a maximum of 14 seats, the number of participants is limited and manageable, making maximum flexibility possible. That is the only way to perceive and experience the sequence of numerous unique attractions, including the World Heritage Sites. Our tour is deliberately carried out in the climatically dry season since pleasant temperatures prevail throughout the Australian winter and spring. In September, the wildflowers can also be seen in full bloom. For climatic reasons, we hold the second appointment immediately afterward in the opposite direction, starting in Melbourne and ending in Perth. However, especially in the tropical north, weather-related changes in the travel itinerary must always be expected. We offer an Australia program for everyone who wants to experience Australia in its diversity, vastness, infinity, and originality. On request, you can participate in a six-day additional program in the country’s extreme southwest.
You can expect consistently good roads – exceptions are possible – and a long, intensive driving program with regular breaks. Overnight stays are in local hotels, motels, chalets, park homes, and comfortable safari tents. The cheapest meal options are outside the hotels, so only the daily breakfast is included. Drivers and tour guides will know what is right for them. Nevertheless, it makes sense to bring a lot of perseverance, willingness to help, comradeship and willingness to guarantee the success of this extraordinary, multifaceted journey.

Day 2: Perth
Extended city tour of Perth and Fremantle. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, beaches and vibrant coastal culture.
Day 3: Perth – Margaret River Region
Our journey first takes us through the green Ferguson Valley – a charming landscape with rolling hills, wineries and small farms. Further south, we reach the renowned Margaret River wine region, known for excellent wines, fine cuisine and impressive coastal landscapes. Overnight in Busselton or Eagle Bay.
Day 4: Margaret River Region – Augusta
Today we experience the highlights of the region: an impressive stalactite cave, a wine tasting at a well-known winery as well as the fantastic coastal landscape and culinary specialties. In the evening we reach Augusta, the southwesternmost point of mainland Australia, known for its unspoiled nature and tranquil atmosphere.
Day 5: Augusta – Albany
On the way to Albany we cross several national parks with dense forest area. Highlights include the “Valley of the Giants” with the famous Ancient Empire Walk. Albany itself impresses with a rich history that dates back to the beginnings of European settlement in Australia.
Day 6 & Day 7: Albany – Esperance
Esperance is famous for its white-sand beaches and crystal- clear, turquoise waters. Use the time to explore the unspoiled coastline and enjoy nature.
Day 8: Esperance – Balladonia
In Balladonia, we visit the Balladonia Space Museum, which commemorates the spectacular emergency landing of a NASA satellite – a fascinating insight into Australia’s connection to space history.
Day 9: Balladonia – Eucla
Eucla, a small historic town, is known for its old telegraph office. Immerse yourself in the history of early European discoveries and enjoy the vastness of the Nullarbor Plain.
Day 10: Eucla- Ceduna
In Ceduna, on the edge of the Nullarbor Desert, immerse yourself in the life of the Australian outback. Enjoy the vastness of the region and the relaxed atmosphere of this quiet place.
Day 11: Ceduna Pandurra Station
Today we visit the historic Pandurra Station, a typical Australian farm. Here you can learn about the hard life in the outback and the history of the farmers who shaped this region. Overnight at Pandurra Station or in Whyalla.
Day 12: Pandurra Station – Adelaide
In Adelaide, the cultural capital of South Australia, we stay two nights. After a city tour, there is time to explore the city alone. Visit the South Australian Museum or stroll through bustling markets.
Day 13: Adelaide Kangaroo Island
Another highlight is a visit to Kangaroo Island with its fascinating wildlife and impressive coastal landscapes unforgettable day.
Day 14: Adelaide Hahndorf
The journey takes us through the Cleland National Park to Hahndorf, a charming German village. Here you can walk through picturesque streets with traditional half-timbered houses and enjoy regional specialities.
Day 15: Hahndorf Grampians National Park
In the Grampians National Park, spectacular mountain landscapes and hikes through untouched nature await you. A special highlight is the MacKenzie Falls, one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Victoria, easily accessible and a popular photo motif. Also, keep an eye out for kangaroos and koalas.
Day 16: Grampians National Park – Apollo Bay
Continue along the Great Ocean Road to Apollo Bay, an idyllic coastal village. Here you can enjoy the quiet beach and explore the picturesque nature on a relaxing walk.
Day 17: Apollo Bay Melbourne
Along the beautiful coastline we reach Melbourne, the vibrant cultural capital of Australia. Take advantage of the time to visit the Royal Exhibition Building, Federation Square. In the evening you will experience the famous culinary diversity of the city.
Day 18: Melbourne

We see the beautiful coastal landscape of the 12 Apostles In the Grampians National Park, spectacular mountain landscapes and hikes through untouched nature await you. A special highlight is the MacKenzie Falls, one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Victoria, easily accessible and a popular photo motif. Also, keep an eye out for kangaroos and koalas. We spend the night in Hahndorf.
